The Off White Gallery in Avalon on Catalina Island was opened by Dave Stein in 1975.   Tony Orozco, goldsmith, joined the gallery in 1981. Ellen Hodge, store manager, was with the gallery since 1986. Their trademark had become the unusual -- the custom designed, stunning pieces featured here on this website,  which are complemented by Mabe pearls, Diamonds, Emeralds, and other rare gems.

All of the items displayed here were designed  by Nature and many local artists.

Their objective was to capture the beauty found in the world in and around the sea and transform it into the highest quality 14 K gold and Sterling Silver.

Dave passed away in 2008 but his long time friend, John Haupt from Huntigton Beach has along with Tony Orozco from Avalon Catalina,  recreated many of the themes as well as designed many new pieces.
